    Getting What You Want

What do you want to accomplish by the end of this month?

What would be your most meaningful win?

I talk a lot about what it really takes to reach our most meaningful goals. The reason I get so excited (you should hear me talk live about it) is because it's actually easier than we think.

It's the small, simple, enjoyable moves; not the no pain / no gain method, that brings a much more satisfying result.

    Check out the list above.

Even on our worst day, those kinds of small moves don't feel that difficult. That's exactly the point. That's why this method works.

Rather than setting goals that make you feel like you have to strap on your warrior armor and head into battle, (not that a warrior outfit wouldn't feel oh so empowering) I'm suggesting you make things easier.

PLEASE NOTE: This isn't the easy way out. This easier way requires much more courage. It's different from what everyone around you is doing. Which is also why I love it so much.

You don't have to make some big, bold, drastic move to enjoy an extraordinary result.

“Extraordinary is hardly ever the extravagant gesture; it’s the ordinary thing, remembered.” — Bernadette Jiwa

One small, ordinary feeling, move a day towards the goal you've intentionally prioritized, followed by a brief "yay for me" moment of celebration, is the path to getting what you want.

Make one small move today to help yourself out and then don’t devalue the win.

This is where most people fail. Instead of celebrating the small wins, like..

"Hey, I got up from my desk and walked around the office 3 times during my lunch break."

We default to our usual story of “Yeah, but that's still not good enough. I still haven't reached my ultimate goal.”

Remember from our series on reaching goals....

You’re not really after the outcome you think.

Of course you want to lose the weight and make the sale, but more than that....you're dying to feel good about yourself.

That's the muscle that needs constant exercising. The 'feeling good about yourself' muscle.

And that, my friend, the way you're dying to feel about yourself, is available to you right now, anytime you do anything to help yourself out.

It's not the size of the gesture; it's your willingness to feel good about it over and over again.

We don't dismiss these small, easier gestures that lead to success because we're afraid they won't work. We're afraid they will.

It's not that you're afraid to fail, it's that you're not quite sure you deserve to succeed.

Our work is always about reconciling our Story of Deserving.

    PRIVATE CONSULT

These are my available session times this week.

Don't set goals for the New Year and end up disappointed. In one hour together, I can teach you my methods that are much more effective and far more enjoyable.

A one hour, private phone session is $200.

An email last night from a client. (She just reached a new level of success in her business).

"I'm so excited! I’m in promotion qualification! This is so crazy awesome. When I wrote down what I was thankful for, I wrote down your name, Lori. Thank you for all you do and for helping me ignite the fire within." - (name withheld for privacy)
