We do not heal those places inside us or those things that are stressing us by force or fight or being hard on ourselves.
Where you are fighting yourself put it down because being hard on yourself never works.
I'm asking that you trust me on this. I've spent the majority of my life being hard on myself, battling my body, trapped in a dysfunctional relationship with food, isolating myself socially, resisting good love, and feeling like I was never smart enough or good enough.
It wasn't until I truly understood what was at the heart of my Story of Deserving and began a daily practice of learning how to love, value and be myself that my entire life turned around.
I have everything in my life today that I've always dreamed of. A loving husband who often reminds me that he's my #1 fan, 3 incredibly loving, happy, social kids, a beautiful home that was just waiting for my husband and I to work our DIY magic on it, incredible friendships, and a thriving business I built from scratch that is 100% aligned with who I was meant to be in this lifetime. My previous food, body, weight issues are no more.
My life is far from perfect. I'm constantly working to figure out how to manage all the madness that happens on a daily basis. I'm constantly 'working' my daily practice of self-love and honor and challenging myself to enjoy the present.
But finally, this is the life I've always wanted. And it's only here because I did the work to change the relationship I had with myself. Our most meaningful life never happens by way of fighting ourselves, it can only be built through a daily practice of loving and valuing yourself.
