No matter your mood, no matter how frustrated or defeated you may feel, no matter how bumpy the waters have been; you have to hold the belief, that everything is unfolding in your favor.
Everything is happening just as it should.
Even those things that are causing stress and pain.
This is not always an easy mindset to hold, it requires deliberate mindfulness and practice, but I’d encourage you to try it on for size because it can immediately help you start feeling optimistic, energized and powerful.
The only thing you get out of not subscribing to this mindset, is the ability to stay nice and safe and comfortable inside a place of stress and suffering.
A great life comes from an optimistic mindset. And adopting a consistently optimistic mindset can take lots of practice.
As it rightly should. Because living the kind of deeply fulfilling and richly rewarding life that you're seeking is only available by doing the work. [The real work, not the quick-fix work.]
So, for the rest of the week how about if you practice turning to yourself and saying (repeatedly), "Everything that is happening is here to help me."
