She's been calling herself a lazy entrepreneur for quite some time and she's been feeling all kinds of bad.
She feels stuck in her business (and in parts of her life) and more often than she's like, her self-doubt seems to mess with her head.
"I keep writing down all these things I want to accomplish and somehow they never get done. Maybe I'm not meant for this? Maybe I'm not smart enough? Maybe it wasn't meant to be? Maybe I'm just a lazy entrepreneur?"
And down the rabbit-hole she goes, allowing her doubts to feel like truth.
In an effort to try to help herself, she stumbles upon a powerful exercise that helps her shift her perspective.
The exercise was as follows.
Write down for a week every single thing you do in service of your business. Listening to podcasts, reading, planning, networking, coaching, journaling, etc. Everything counts.
She wrote it all down, then she looked at her list.
"Holy Sh$#. Look at all I've done. What the heck have I been saying to myself? I'm not lazy at all."
And out of the rabbit hole she climbed, helping herself up, step by step, feeling kind of good.
The real shift that happened was not just about the number of things on her list that made her feel productive and good; the more profound shift at play was the shift from fear to love.
The way we get out of the rabbit hole is by deliberately deciding to stop buying into beliefs about yourself that just aren't true. The way out of the rabbit hole is by feeling worthy of feeling good.
What might you be telling yourself that you'd love to prove untrue?
I can't emphasize this next point enough; when you stop looking for evidence of what's wrong with you and start looking for all the ways in which you're pretty amazing, you hold the power to completely shift your destiny.
This is my exact area of expertise, helping you get unstuck from a longstanding story that just isn't true. This is the deep work that leads to changing the quality of your life for good.
