I put a lot of pressure on myself too. I have some big wants.
I want to reach a higher level of financial freedom. I want to be a great mom and wife and sibling and friend.
I want to buy a house for my family to live. I want to be exceptional at my work. I want to be present with my kids.
I want to be mindful all the time of what matters most to me, of how I'm showing up or whether or not I'm doing my best.
Sometimes our big wants can get the best of us. When we hold them so seriously all the time, when we put a ton of pressure on ourselves, we end up blocked.
When we deprive ourselves of feeling good now simply because we are not yet where we most long to be, we end up creating so much more stress. We end up trapped in a vicious cycle of self-sabotaging the very thing we want most.
Let yourself relax and play and enjoy yourself more. This is the energy state that will deliver the goods.
Things don't have to be perfect in order for you to feel good.
You are just as deserving today as you are in some future time and space.
