"But it's feels like a lot of work to try to change my life." Have you ever thought this to yourself?
This is something I hear from my private clients all the time, especially at the beginning of our work together. Both they and you are absolutely right. It takes effort to change your life. There's no way around it.
But guess what? It also takes effort to hold yourself back. More effort than you may realize.
Hold yourself back can be exhausting and frustrating and cause all kinds of stress. Being stuck in longstanding patterns that are consistently not producing the results you're hoping for weighs heavily on your life. It drains your energy, your health, your bank account and the quality of your relationships. It strips you of your ability to feel powerful, excited about your life and fulfilled.
So when you think about it in those terms, not doing the work is actually harder on your life than doing it.
While at times it might feel scary and overwhelming, doing the work begins to bring you what you want in your life, whether it's losing weight, feeling more confident, making more money or having an easier time making decisions that feel good. Doing the work gets you what you want.
So while a part of it might feel challenging it's also wildly exhilarating, exciting and freeing at the same time.
And when you practice long enough (like I have) you actually start to LOVE the work. Because that work no longer feels like work, it feels like a daily gift you're giving to yourself to live the life you've always imagined.
In other words, once you decide to love the work, your life will never look the same. Isn't that what you long for woman? Yeah, I thought so.
Do the work. Love the work. And I promise your life will never look the same.
